Hello our soon-to-be Guests,

As you would know restrictions have changed more times that you can poke a stick at here in Melbourne town. So in order to help clear up some confusion we have summarised what is currently required in order to indulge in the much loved act of social interaction and imbibing at our venue.

Please kindly note we will be adhering to all the COVID safe laws mandated by the Chief Health Officer and the Victorian Government in order to stay open and do what we love, serve our community. Please note we do not have any say or sway in the government mandated restrictions and conditions of entry placed upon us, all these queries should be directed to the office of Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews, Minister for Health Martin Foley and or the Chief Health Officer Professor Brett Sutton.

The current restrictions allow us to be open for indoor and outdoor service at a limited capacity so reserving a table is strongly encouraged. All bookings will be seated service and capped at two hours, co-mingling between guests outside of their designated table group is not currently allowed, this includes communal areas also. Our popular gin lawn area outside the front of the venue is not able to be booked due to the unpredictability of the Melbourne weather and is offered on a first come first serve basis. Unfortunately this means we cannot guarantee to transfer to a table indoors if Melbourne decides to live up to her four seasons in a day reputation!

All guests whether booked or walking in will be required to show official proof of double vaccination on arrival via the Victoria Service App as is mandated by the government. Ensuring you have a booking or we are not at capacity this will then allow you to enter the venue whether it be inside to the distillery bar or relaxing on the deck chairs at the outdoor gin lawn.

Finally, be sure not to forget that essential fashion accessory we have come to know so well – the face mask. As of 6pm this Friday October 29th masks will not be required outdoors however they will be required to be worn in a correct fashion whilst indoors i.e. covering both the nose and mouth at all times unless seated at your table and consuming drinks and/or food. As we move forward to a higher vaccination rate there will be more freedoms and we will be sure to update you on our socials and our website when that information comes to light.

If you have any questions please contact us at bookings@brogansway.com.au.
