61 North Whisky Barrel #21 is Brogan's Way first whisky! This limited edition single barrel release is not a typical whisky and it goes beyond the craftsmanship of conventional drops. Collaborating with brewing friends, Brogan began this crafting journey by fermenting a pure malt wash, followed by rigorous distillations and unique barrel ageing. 61 North is an exquisite blend with rapid ageing for a short period in a range of small re-coppered 20L French and American oak that has been used to mellow Apera or Tawny and then into special French oak ex-orange Curacao barrel for almost two full years to mellow.

The result is a final product, boasting soft warm spice and sweet chocolate orange on the nose, dried fruit and toasted cereal balanced against the refreshing orange, vanilla and chocolate notes on the palate and with a smooth finish of dry orange and toasted muesli for a refreshing soft spiciness. Brogan’s Way 61 North Whisky has a truly unique flavour profile.
