The Gin Guild welcomes new members and celebrates strength of sector

Brogan, Head Distiller at Brogan's Way, has been installed as a life member of The Gin Guild — one of the highest honours in the international gin industry, at the Guild's Spring Installation, held 30 April 2026 at London's historic Guildhall.

The Guild welcomed just 31 new members this year, bringing its total global membership to 642, a figure that reflects how selective and prestigious this community is across the entire world of gin. For Brogan's Way, having its Head Distiller recognised at this level is a significant milestone, placing Brogan among an elite international network of distillers, brand owners, and industry leaders.

Charles Maxwell, Grand Rectifier and director of The Gin Guild, described the new intake as proof of the "depth, diversity and ambition" defining the category, calling the Guild a meeting point for the industry's most accomplished voices.

Director General Pal Gleed added that this year's growth mattered "not only because of the number, but because of the quality and breadth of the people and organisations joining."
