Here at Brogan’s Way, we think pork and gin are a winning combination and that is why we are bringing you our inaugural Gin Pig dinner event with our good friends at Yarra Valley Berkshires, home of the Gin Pig and The Mighty Moonee Ponds. If you haven’t already heard of the Gin Pig then let me introduce you. Their team specialises in the production of 100% Black Berkshire piggy’s that live out a stress-free life free to graze, dig and roam in the beautiful paddocks of Victoria’s Yarra Valley. Fed on a diet of paddock pasture, grain and spent botanicals from our distillations this feed not only infuses a rich and unique flavour profile into the Gin Pigs premium product, but it also eliminates the process of our distillation wastage ending up in landfill. Good for the environment and good for the pork on your fork!
This extraordinary flavour filled pork product will be transformed into a delectable three course menu expertly matched with Brogan’s Way gin cocktails. To be held on March 18th from 6pm at the spectacular venue that is The Mighty Moonee Ponds, head chef Adrian Corigliano, Simon from Brogan’s Way and Brett from Yarra Valley Berkshires will host you for an intimate night involving superb food and spectacular drinks celebrating all things locally produced.
While the tickets for this inaugural event sold out in less than 24 hours we are so excited by this overwhelming response that we now have a few more Gin Pig events in the works for 2021.
